"PRAYER IS BEING NEAR TO GOD"

Dear people in Christ, today as we paid attention to the Lord's words addressing us through the Sacred Scriptures, we all are reminded to follow the Lord earnestly and submit ourselves at every single pictures of our lives, doing the best in anything open doors we have been given to serve Him and to follow Him in His ways. As Christians, we all have been called to show faith in our activities in general and to be really trusting and brimming with affection for the Lord consistently.

In the first reading today, we heard from the Epistle of St. James the Apostle, an update for us all to be dedicated to God in every way. St. James discussed the numerous previous instances of how the people who had faith in the Lord were not discouraged, and in the end all things will end up being the manner by which the Lord has consistently planned it to be. The Lord has given all of the time to His children out of luck, in His own fun time. The prophet Elijah that was referenced in the model had been dealt with by the Lord during the difficulties he experienced, and as he dropped by the place of the widow of Zarephath, her faith in the Lord permitted her to get by with her child through the extraordinary long periods of starvation that occurred around then.

Thus we all are called to turn to God in the times of trials and tribulations, difficulties and sufferings whether it is physical, mental emotional or spiritual. St. James admonishes us to pray unceasingly. Hence, prayer is the definite way to compact with sufferings. When we are failed to pray we are disunited from God. Therefore we need to pray daily.

The psalmist also declares that “My prayer is set before you like an incense and may it be lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice”. Finally in the Gospel, Jesus through his Words and actions, assures us that there is no qualification required to approach God; there is no one less or more worthy. He invites all of us into his loving embrace; he listens to all who desire to speak to Him; he blesses all the wishes to come close to Him.

In the Gospel section today, we heard how the Lord advised His followers to permit the children to come to Him. The devotees at first would not let the children to come to the Lord and attempted to dismiss the people who have come to the Lord. In any case, the Lord censured every one of the people who have banned the children from coming to Him and letting them know that they should permit them to move toward Him, and to be sure, He adulated those children and saying that except if they displayed themselves after those youngsters and the faith that they had in Him, they would have no share in Him and His kingdom.

What the Lord implied by this is that we all must be really dedicated to Him, to cherish Him truly and truly, and to confide in Him earnestly much as how children is real and valid in everything they do. A children’s faith is unadulterated and when a youngster trusts in something, the kid will accept with next to no reservations. This is the sort of faith that the Lord needs every one of us to have too, faith that comes without reservation, and love that we have for Him which isn't adulterated and tempered with different narrow minded wants and different things.

Throughout our lives, we all are reminded by the Lord to show faith in every way, to be loaded up with authentic love that we should have for Him. We need to devote ourselves to the Lord and submit ourselves, our endeavors and regard for Him, in anything we say and do, in all things so we may constantly be great good examples and motivation to each other by the way we carry on with our lives with faith. Is it safe to say that we are capable and able to do this however, people in Christ?

We are regularly occupied by the many worries and things present in our lives, in every one of the enticements encompassing us, every one of the common things that frequently became hindrances in our excursion towards the Lord. We are regularly investing a lot of energy and exertion, placing our consideration on these common matters rather than to confide in the Lord. We invested a ton of energy agonizing and being worried over how our lives will end up being, not understanding that God is traveling with us and has been there with us this time.

Once more that is the reason, people in Christ, today we are totally called to reorientation ourselves towards God and turn towards Him by and by with faith. Yet again let all of us stroll in the way that the Lord has shown us. May the Lord accompany every one of us, and may He enable all of us to live always dependably and help us in our excursion of faith, developing perpetually in our trust and love for Him. May God favor us generally, in every one of our activities, words and deeds, presently and consistently. Amen.
