"HOW MUCH DO

 I LOVE GOD"

Dear brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ, today we are totally reminded once more through the Sacred Scriptures of the extraordinary love of God, the numerous magnificent things that God had accomplished for the good of we. He has showed His affection to us over and over, over and over, in any event, when we have regularly double-crossed and overlooked Him, deserted and left Him for different symbols and interruptions throughout everyday life. He quietly reached out to us all the proposal of His affection and merciful benevolence, needing to be accommodated with us miscreants, and approaching us all to get back to Him.

In the first reading today, we knew about the Words from the Book of the prophet Isaiah where the Lord addressed His children of His guaranteed salvation to every one of them. He would safeguard them from their difficulties and convey them from the hands of the shrewd one, and every one of the plots against them. This is critical given the setting of what occurred around then, as people of Israel, the relative people of God had been going through a ton of difficulties and preliminaries, having been destroyed and lost their solidarity, and not just that, the northern portion of the Israelites, the northern realm had been squashed by the Assyrians.

Henceforth, around then, people of God obviously realized what befell the people who have not submitted to the Law and the rules of God, as the northern realm had quite often done, and accordingly, large numbers of people were brought off from their tribal terrains, and sent far away, banished for good in distant grounds, while outsiders were brought to get comfortable the terrains once settled by people of God. A similar destiny would ultimately occur for the southern realm of Judah too, on the grounds that people likewise proceeded to sin and resist against God. In any case, God didn't leave His kin, and on second thought He consoled them through His prophets that He would accompany them.

He sent His prophets like Isaiah and numerous others to help people to remember His consistent love and the Covenant that He had made with them. He has shown them the way to salvation and honorableness as He had generally done over and over, which finished with the sending of Christ, His main sired Son, into this world. By this activity, He has given us the necessary resources to go into the delight and greatness of everlasting coexistence with Him that is through His Son, Our Lord and Savior.

What we have heard today in the Gospel section today is the declaration of this reality, as spoken by the Lord Himself, as He uncovered how He would help our purpose. Through Him, the Son of God and the Divine Word Incarnate, the Lord willed and needed to be accommodated with us, and He came bearing the salvation of God and furthermore the update that except if we are accommodated with Him, or then again in the event that we reject His liberal proposal of kindness and love, we will be judged and censured by our own wrongdoings and mischievousness.

The people who side with the Lord and acknowledge His love and mercy will have timeless life. Yet, the people who left the Lord and would not be accommodated with Him will have only endlessness of anguish and punishment in hellfire. We have generally been offered many chances to get back to the Lord and to be accommodated with Him, yet as a rule we have wasted off these open doors since we actually remained immovably appended to the way of transgression. We were regularly unfit to oppose the numerous enticements of transgression and accordingly we actually keep on strolling down this ruinous way.

That is the reason, brothers and sisters in Christ, having been continually helped to remember our dilemma and what looks for us in the end would it be advisable for us we decide to stay in this way. Do we believe that this should happen to us? Clearly not right? To that end this Lenten season we are offered at this point more chances and suggestions to get back to the Lord with remorseful heart craving His pardoning and to turn our lifestyle and standpoint that we as of now not stroll in the way of malevolence and on second thought do anything God has called and told us to do, to be equitable and similarly as His devotees and supporters, to be model in our lifestyle, in everything we say and do.

May the Lord proceed to help and guide us in our individual excursion of confidence, and may He enable all of us to live perpetually commendably of His presence from here onward, in the event that we have not yet done as such. Allow us deliberately to dismiss the impulses to sin, and endeavor to carry on with a decent and commendable life consistently. May God favor all of us and our every activities, so we may constantly endeavor to commend Him by those equivalent activities and deeds. Amen.
