"BIRTH OF JOHN THE BAPTIST"
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, today we mark the
event of the Solemnity of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, which
celebrates the moment when St. John the Baptist, the Herald of the Lord and
Savior of the world, was naturally introduced to this world, into the group of
Zechariah and Elizabeth, his folks. Today we mark the second when the Lord
delivered into this world the news and disclosure of His salvation, of the
hotly anticipated salvation and Savior that He has consistently guaranteed and
spoken going to His people. The Lord has consoled us all that His affection for
us has consistently persevered, and He will convey unto us His provision and
strength.
St. John the Baptist was brought into the world as a
worker of God, called and browsed even before he was considered and conceived.
His folks, Zechariah and Elizabeth were at that point moderately old and
Elizabeth herself was logical currently beyond childbearing age. It was around

of the Lord. All of us as Christians have been called to different missions and
services, offered the chances and the abilities, the gifts of capacities and
different means to contact each other, and to announce God's reality, love and
desire to our present reality. All of us ought to be motivated by the models
that St. John the Baptist has shown us, and we ought to stroll in his strides
as dependable followers of the Lord.
May the Lord keep on directing all of us to be always
devoted and focused on Him, and may He keep on gift us and reinforce us with
confidence, to such an extent that we might keep on serving Him in our own
different limits and valuable open doors with enthusiasm and commitment,
enlivened by what his holy people, particularly that of St. John the Baptist,
had shown us. May God favor all of us and all our products endeavors and
attempts, presently and consistently. Amen.
